We personally own a very nice collection of bird books in our home library.  Every vacation is spent in a new place and of course we need a bird book for the birds in that region.  When we spot a new (to us) type of bird, we find it in our books and write notes as to the date, place and maybe event.  It is like having a photograph album with out all the work.  When we are looking for the next bird and stumble on our notes, we are reminded of another time and memory.
There are numerous books on everything for and about birds.  This page is only dealing with wild birds, primarily of the North American varieties.  You can use books to get instructions, designs and ideas for your own projects as well as hint on making your project work better.  Many of the books are so beautiful; they even make great conversation starters if they are left out on a coffee table.
